The E. J. Churchill Shooting Ground has a dedicated team of professional instructors incorporating some of the most experienced and dedicated game shots as well as world class competitive clay shots. We have over 100 shooting stands representing every conceivable quarry from driven grouse, partridge and pheasant to wildfowl and woodcock. Combining these facilities with our array of clay shooting disciplines such as sporting, skeet, down the line and multi-sport, makes E.J. Churchill the most exciting shooting ground you will visit.
Our instructors have the experience and ability to instruct both novices and experienced shots alike. Their proven instruction techniques sees the novice progress at a pace to ensure confidence is never lost in their ability, resulting in a well rounded confident shot with the ability to take on and succeed with the most challenging birds or targets on offer. For young people the Hotshotz Courses have been specifically designed to be a safe and exciting series of lessons.
Our lessons are inclusive of personal protection equipment and gun hire (if required). We are happy for you to bring your own cartridges or you can buy cartridges from our extensive stock, our staff will be happy to advise you. After your lesson we will clean and oil your gun.
Personal Tuition is available Monday to Saturday 9 am to 5pm and on Wednesdays during summer to 8 pm.
