If you have shot clay pigeons but have always wanted to shoot game or you are an existing game shot who wants to improve and carry this learning process forward into the field then this is the course for you!
It is open to everyone, young or old. The course will consist of five 1-hour lessons (including all clays and cartridges) on the renowned E.J.Churchill Shooting Ground. During these lessons your ability will be constantly assessed and a specific course of lessons will be designed and adjusted to cover all aspects of game shooting including etiquette (we do however recommend our etiquette course for novices). The course will then culminate in a day’s Game Shooting with lunch included. This will be hosted by our Chief Instructor who will be offering encouragement and advice throughout the day making this a learning experience as well as being great fun!
All shooters must have first demonstrated that they are safe and have a reasonable understanding of how to shoot before entering this course. Young shots must be a minimum of 16 years old. Please note that the course does not include game cartridges for the game day.
